Jasmine is the smartest, cutest little dog. She is running the show for about 8 years now. She loves to cuddle and go places. And always ready to be cute for a treat. She goes potty on command and is very discrete about it. Jasmine also has a very thick undercoat of fur with an over coat of nice long hair. Brushing every day or two is in order
even with a puppy cut. Her teeth aren't very good and has a very questionable pedigree. We think her grandma had a torrid affair with a Lhasa Apso mix
and produced Jazzy's mom Nell. I love her and she usually sleeps by my head, that is unless she is punishing me for not paying enough attention to her. Jazzy has so much hair it holds her ears down, just the way I like it.
Her ears will stand straight up if I cut all the hair off of them but I
like the "Three Stooge" look on her.
My little Jazzy got a belly button hernia and died from complications in
October 09. I miss her greatly but I am so glad she was part of my life.
Jazzy loved to go to the groomer and when she got home from the groomer
she really strutted her stuff. Because of her unknown ancestors, I think
it was the Laso blood, Jazzy had a very fine coat of very thick fur
under her coat of long hair. The two types of hair were impossible to
keep groomed so every year we would give her a puppy cut except her
head. One time Jazzy, just home from the groomer and strutting her stuff
around the house I opened the door to the dog yard and as she was
walking out, very proud of her new do, the other dogs were impressed,
her feet got tangled up as she was doing the same walk a fashion model
would do, she tripped on her own feet. Jazzy, totally humiliated, got
very pissed off and snapped at the other dogs. It was a riot. Jazzy was
hot stuff and she knew it. |
