Sweet little Nell

| Nell was our second Yorkie. We got her at the same time we got Puppers but we gave her to a young lady down in Gasquet, California because it seemed that Puppers and Lupe were enough. A few months later they brought Nell back because they could not potty train her. Soon it was evident that Nell had been abused pretty bad. I think they must have spanked her a lot because she was pretty scared most of the time. Luckily she got over it in a couple of months and we fell in love with her. I Named her Nell after Jodie Foster's movie with the same name. If you held Nell on her back and scratched her belly she would hold paws up in the air like she was praising the Lord. We breed Yorkies for their personality and Nell taught us how awesome Yorkies relate to humans. They have feelings like us and think like us. I only wish they could talk like us. Sometimes Yorkies are very hard to housebreak. Generally you have to take them outside every hour or so until they figure it out. No food or water before bedtime. When they slip a gentle verbal reprimand is necessary along with immediately putting them outside. If you put this procedure off you will regret it. Every time you slip or forget to take the dog out on time it will take more days to train it. |
